Tarver is here to challenge us. He breaks established rules, making the team and our clients think and act differently. He has spent his career designing and delivering complex financial services solutions, from algorithmic trading systems to derivatives trading. Recently, he has worked in digital retail banking, insurance and startups. All of these have involved mass, semi-structured digital data sets, linked by APIs and understood through AI. Once exclusive to multi-billion pound financial institutions, these technologies are becoming available to everyone. Individuals have the power to use their data on Jigsaw’s marketplace to get companies to supply them with personalised services. Tarver founded Jigsaw on this belief.

Rick began crafting software programs on ZX Spectrum and BBC Micros back in the 80s and then went on to graduate with a degree in Computer Science. With over 20 years experience in Enterprise Technology and Data Management (via Accenture and UBS) he is now focused on Digital Platform development, bringing all of these threads together. He believes that there is a major shift in how data and technology can be consumed over a marketplace of providers in a secure manner. In the future, companies big and small will compete across a fabric to serve the individual. Rick hopes the technology being built out at Jigsaw will help to enable and accelerate this transition.
